Between June 19-21 and 26-28, officers from nine agencies in central Indiana conducted patrols on U.S. 31 to catch people transporting and distributing illegal narcotics. Operation Blue Anvil included State Police, City Police and County Sheriff officers. Authorities made 129 arrests on 272 drug-related charges in those six day. Of the 272 drug related charges, 48 were felonies. Officers also issued 193 traffic citations and made 3 arrests for driving while impaired.
During those 6 days in June, officers located Cocaine, Heroin, LSD, METH, Marijuana, Marijuana Edibles, Psilocybin Mushrooms, Ecstasy, and Prescription Medications. The Ecstasy that was confiscated had an orange color that bear the likeness of President Donald Trump and read "GREAT AGAIN."
