FOCUS Group Ministries
NetGain currently supports the work of this christian, non-denominational ministry by providing sponsorship for both the annual gala fundraising event and annual walk-a-thon. FOCUS changes lives and helps families by ministering to individuals in the Knox County Jail and Detention Facility, Taft Youth Center, and the four men’s prisons of East Tennessee.
Multiple Sclerosis Society
NetGain President & CEO, Kathy Smith, was named to the Mid South Chapter Board of Trustees in 2011. NetGain Vice President, Vickie Hurst, was named to the Mid South Chapter Board of Trustees in 2014. NetGain looks forward to supporting the Society’s mission of advancing research and funding new treatments and seeks to assist the Chapter in its efforts to expand in East Tennessee.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving
NetGain participated in the “Walk Like MADD” event serving as a Milestone Sponsor in 2010 and 2011. At the event, NetGain employees showcased the company’s state-of-the art mobile lab helping to raise awareness for the importance of drug and alcohol testing.
Susan G. Komen Foundation
NetGain participated in the Race for the Cure and in 2010 walked in honor of employee Nancy Martin. Together the team raised over $1,500 to support research in the fight against breast cancer.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
NetGain supported the JDRF East Tennessee Branch’s annual Dream Gala event, twice serving as Presenting Sponsor in 2007 and 2008. NetGain President & CEO, Kathy Smith has served on the Branch’s Board of Directors and in 2008, as Chair of the 16th Annual Dream Gala event, at the time the most successful gala to date, raising more than $180,000 for diabetes research.
NetGain supported the East Tennessee Chapter as a long-time attendee and sponsor of the “Waltz for Wishes” Gala event. NetGain has also supported the New Mexico Chapter with employees in Albuquerque donating items to entertain children during the travel that is often required to fulfill their wishes.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
NetGain supported the East Tennessee Branch’s “Wine on the Water” event, serving as Title Sponsor in 2007 and at various other levels in 2008 and 2009. NetGain’s titled event raised over $65,000 to support research to find a cure for this disease affecting the lungs and digestive system.
Habitat for Humanity
NetGain assisted the organization’s local office on various housing builds, including in 2006 and 2007 when the company participated in a One Week Blitz, helping to build 7 homes in 7 days.
